Don't worry it's not a fire hazard, the boys are allergic to real trees. All of the other Christmas decorations have been put away, but I always have a difficult time letting go of the tree.
By the way, the record for how long the tree has stayed up is May. I did remove the Xmas ornaments and decorated appropriately for all of the holidays that followed Christmas, including Taylor's 18th birthday in April.
